with completion of my gmat this monday, i would have to say that i am relived. ever since i began planning to pursue an mba(it started in late 2003) - i knew that i had to get the gmat done. but procrastination was the reason it got delayed till now - and thank God for making me panicky enough to schedule a date for the gmat. from my experience, once we have the date scheduled, the other things start falling into place, or we start pushing ourselves so hard that they fall into place. either ways, it works out.
although the gmat is done, i know the road ahead is more challenging and filled with lots of hard work. reading the blogs of axechick , honey Drops and mave - I realise that have a lot of catching up to do. those guys are running full steam - and they spread the enthusiasm - and i am thankful to them.
work is killing me these days - but the fun of being able to manage so much pressure is nice. guess the Almighty is bracing me for the new life which i hope to start next fall.

Congrats on getting the GMAT out of the way. Seems like you have a good score for your target schools. Good luck with your essays and apps.
A few days late, but congratulations from me as well!
Axechick is correct... the first essay is the hardest. My advice: go back and "check your work"/revise it after you've done a few others. The second draft will be tons better!
