My first lottery ticket -

- the one I bought today. As an international applicant, today was the last day to submit Kellogg Part 1. As with all other things, procrastination ruled, and I clicked on the Submit button a few hours ago. Was not very comfortable with how the Preview pdf looked, but I did not have much choice. The bets on this lottery are high, as are the stakes, but probabilistically, chances of winning look bleak.

Note : All international Kellogg applicants must finish Part 1 by today. I know you guys are better at managing time, but just in case !

In some interesting news. I was in office yesterday, and found some time to work on the essays. So I dug out my Michigan essays, and re-read them. Quite some crap was out there. So I cleaned up 2 of them, and fired a printout(to recheck on my bus ride home), and coolly forgot to collect the printout. When I remembered, and was about to get up from my seat, I saw a close friend walking up the printer. I was scared. Expectedly enough, he picked my printouts with his, then realised that he had a couple of extra pages, and was about to keep it back when he must have noticed what's in there. As an MBA himself, and the smart chap he is, I saw him have a good look at the paper (quite a common phenomenon, isnt it?). If he has spotted a few key words, he by now has easily joined the dots to pin me down. But he said nothing, so I dont know how aware is he. He is first person in my office(except my manager) to actually even have a clue about me(?) applying to MBA schools(atleast I believe I have ensured enough secrecy around this topic). I am hoping that the news doesnt spread, atleast not before I get an admit [oh, is that even a possibility ? ;) ]

Happy Christmas and happy Holidays ! [ I have my holiday plan chalked out - it will be essays, revisions, essays, revisions ..... round and round, till I drop dead - perhaps the deadlines will come before that happens ;) ]

For now, over and out !

That is a pretty funny story, I wonder if he says anything to you. I had no idea for some reason that you are international...
