I knew I would come back and post one day. How could I abstain ? Frankly, soon after I finished my application process on the 7th of January, I headed for a long vacation, returning today. Completing the applications has been an enriching experience, and I hope I can capture the moments into a blog post ( not today ). For now, here's where I stand.
I managed to push in my apps to Michigan Ross, Kellogg, Wharton and GSB Chicago.
Even though interview calls and admits have been the talk of all discussions boards and forums, I still dont have any positive news to share. Kellogg is being very slow in processing my Part 1 of the application(which was submitted on the 22nd of Dec). I need to send them a reminder. Michgan Ross just sent me a mail today that my application looks complete, and will be forwarded to the adcom. Similar is the state of both my Chicago and Wharton apps.
When I began the bschool process, I had dreamt of (and sometimes still do) acing all my applications, and ensuring that I get a perfect score. I knew it wasnt a realistic dream for me, but no one stops us from dreaming. By the end of the process, I really have come to understand that my dreams were pretty unrealistic :)
But despite no news (I hear from ClearAdmit that both Wharton and Chicago have been sending a flurry of interview invites), I am still optimistic that something will happen in the next 2 weeks. You anyway will come to know.

Relax FG. For Chicago they're still reading the apps - your file, like mine may yet be untouched. I'm pretty sure that's the case for W too.

Yeah - they take their time with these things so don't worry. In fact I submitted my wharton in December, but only turned complete a week and a half ago? no news from them yet, but then it's a long way to go till feb 18th was it?
Oh yes...I surely have my shopping priorities straight :)
