[Note - I have decided to use this post for all future book reviews I write, and I will keep adding stuff onto the top of this post with a date. Also, please feel free to recommend good books you have read and if possible, with a small review. I will append that to this post as well.]

The Kite Runner
My take [short version] - Excellent book, entertaining story, must read
My take [longer version] - Despite what I say above, this book probably isnt for everyone. It's a life story, though officially fiction. If you dont like life stories, you might be disappointed. So take your pick.
That being said, the story begins in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The story is about a Afghani boy, his early life spent in Afghanistan, and his adult life in the US, and the climax taking him back to the Taliban ruled Afghanistan, torn apart by the war and an autocratic government. The story definitely makes you feel what the boy feels, and power of expression is something the author (Khaled Hosseini) is blessed with. Written in simple straight English, this is a book which at 14 point font, and 1.5 spaced line spacing is a quick, yet great reading stuff. Go check it out.
Jeeves and the Hard-boiled Egg and Other Stories
Succint opinion - Witty, Humorous and Entertaining
Detailed opinion - If you have never read PG Woodhouse books, this is the place to begin. This book is a compilation of short stories, and is a great introduction to the Woodhouse brand of humor. Woodhouse, the acclaimed author has penned many books worth reading, and his short stories dont tend to fall short of expectations you might have. This book is small in stature(about half(or 2/3rd) the dimension of a regular fiction book) i.e. easy to carry, relatively easy to read, and you can take breaks as soon as you finish a story. I dont really remember much about the stories in particular since I read the book a while back, but if you are one of those over-stressed fellas, this paperback is for you to stress some of your cheek muscles.
