can I ever let it go...

as i re-read this sentence from one of my recent mails - "can you please include -mr x- for all future mails, discussions." - i realised that i made a mistake by using the preposition "for" - and all my memories about the various grammar rules, idioms, etc came flashing by. how much ever i hate the gmat as an exam, i cant deny that it did give me an eye to spot some common mistakes people often make. and i guess that's a good step towards writing successful essays. as a non-native english speaker, i will admit that gmat did improve my english quite a bit. and although i have let go the inclination to re-take, i believe i can never let go the 7 basic rules, the 70 odd idioms, the 700 prepositions...I learnt while preparing for the test.

to reply to some of the comments of my previous post, my bro didnt have any insurance for his laptop, and the effort he's putting in seems to be for a lost cause. the cctv video file hasnt resulted in any details, nor have the other clues led to any discovery. both me and my bro are now cool about the theft, and the agony has reduced. mistakes made, lessons learnt, time to move on. on a lighter note - i literally slept on my power glasses last night, so i am partially blind today(cant find my spare ones) - are the blind allowed some naughty pranks ? , and yes, another hit on my wallet. a rather costly week :)
