{disclaimer : this post has me cribbing about a few things - so read it at your own risk }
someone stole my kid brother's laptop, the one which i just bought him a few months ago. that too, from his dorm room, which was supposedly locked all the time he was away. campus security has registered the complaint - and my kid brother is going to use the campus forum to announce a prize for anyone who knows the thief - but i seriously doubt any of these will work. here i am trying to save the pennies to pay for those high priced b school applications, and my kid bro just gets a little careless to loose his laptop. talking about bschool apps - i dont know why they are so highly priced - the adcom has all the fun reading hilarious, innovative, sentimental, phenomenal essays(ok, what if some of the essays are boring, those find their way to the bin anyway), and then they charge us over $200 for that - is that fair ?
so why this post - because, even though i was freaked out a little when my bro called last night to tell me about the theft - i absolutely didnt shout at him. so i had to vent out someplace - what better place than my own blog....

I hope he finds the laptop soon - tough luck !!!
that really sux. hope whoever took it returns it soon. redwolf made a good suggestion - u might have some insurance that would cover the laptop.
