...to Remove Privileges From Victims of Political Repressions and Veterans . as i read this news piece about putin talking to step down after 2008, i couldnt help but remember the movie "the saint" which dealt with an oppressive communist regime, orchestrated public demonstrations, and a show of good will. from where soviet union was, russia's current state does make me sad. i am not sure how bad things are under putin, and how oppressive he actually is, but it is clear that there's surely some fire, because all this smoke must have a source ?
