Manic week

The past week has been one that I dont want to remember. More so, because of self inflicted pain. Regular checking of emails, visiting the bweek boards [yes, I finally succumbed :( ] , checking the status page, and all the other associated illogical actions - meant that i have no peace, loose my sleep, and get unnecessarily worked up. How do I just let it go ? Sudoku ?

As if that wasnt enough, I got a call (which very much seemed to come from the US, so I was all excited) from the Hult Business School in Boston. Not the first time they are calling, but then, their timing wasnt quite good this time. I take the call with high expectations, only to hear a voice I have heard before, and I am so disappointed ( and a little angry - dont know why) that I ask the lady to call later on Monday. Although actually, I was in a big hall checking out the shopping fest, and I could hardly hear what she was saying.

Work has also been very tough this last week. Although that in a sense is a good thing because I dont have the time to check bweek or other stuff while at work, but sadly, that doesnt help me relax :o|

Ross has begun calling people with admits, a week before the official result date. I didnt know Ross does this, so I was a tad surprised.
Kellogg has been issuing lots of dings and a few acceptances (if bweek boards are anything to go by). Are they saving one for me ? I hope so :) [you guys should go there on bweek to check that thread. It has statements like "there are so many dings, that I think that all admits have already been given out" or "no one will get a admit during the last 10 days, because that wont leave them enough time to plan their trip to DAK" or (the most amazing) "the adcom gave an R1 waitlist an admit, that definitely means that the remainder of the R2 guys are gonna get dinged"] --- i hope you will agree, these statements do make you think all sorts of things :)
Chicago is the best because I am not expecting anything from them until the 22nd. I thank them for making decisions a one day affair.

Sudoku rules. =o) Have you tried taking a hiatus from the bweek forums? I tried and lasted about a day.

Just think that in only two weeks all this anxiety should go away and dissolve into thin air...

Have a great weekend!

The bw forums can definitely stress us out seeing so many admit/ding announcements. But you have to admit that some posts are quite entertaining to read. :-P

Glad to hear you had a great weekend! Mine was definitely action-packed with a trip to Napa Valley and San Francisco. Hope all is well in S'pore!
