- I am currently employed as a strategy consultant in a top 3 firm, and apparently an expert on things I have no clue about. Thats correct, my friend. WL is pita! and this year, almost every school seems to be waitlisting candidates in loads. Here's wishing us luck.

Forrest, my guess is that they've got serious increase in Chicago this year, and so Adcom wanted to keep some places from R1 vacant till they see applicants in R2... Chicago has good rate of accepting applicants from WL, I wish you make it!

Make a strong Navigation plan. Sore would able to help you right ? If i am not wrong, he converted the R2 waitlist last year.
I think Chi WL is the easiest to convert to an admit, so get your plan and implement it.
Still in the game, Forrest. WL is only a result of insane application volume increase. All the best!
