Emotions

a) Sad

About the Virginia Tech shooting. Horrible incident. My prayers go out to those affected.

b) Surprised

Emailed my boss that I will resign soon. No reply from him. And I thought that we had shared a very good work relationship for the last 2 years. I dont think there's a possibility that he didnt read my email.

c) Happy (one of my aunts calls me that)

Emailed my client that I will leave soon. He was very happy for me. Offered me to stay in his house in Chicago if required [temporarily though ;-)]

He then calls me a few days back, and offers me to take up a job offer at his company, i.e. my client company. Also offers to sponsor my education. Caveat : I would have to go part-time. Cant do that, right?

d) Amazed

By the potential opportunities that await at bschool. They seem endless. But it is all on us to make the most of the 2 years, that's what I am being told.

e) Overwhelmed (slightly)

Thinking about what all I need to do before I end in school. And about all things I will not be able to do.

I know, this isnt good news - bschool would be more challenging, and more overwhelming. Note to myself - do something about this. asap.

f) Proud

Of an ex-fellow blogger Mave, one of those best friends whom I know only through the internet medium. The best advisor I had during the time of bschool applications. He is doing a great job with his newly launched venture (if you hear about it, you can just say Wow), and I wish him all the luck. I am just sad that he was unlucky to not crack the GSB WL - it would have been fun to have him in HPC.

g) Angry

At myself. For procrastinating - quite a few things. Like, sending my GSB deposit. Which is why I have only myself to blame for not getting my hands on the "Not for Tourists Guide to Chicago" which Iday already has.

h) Jealous

Of Iday - because he has the guide.

i) Callous

About the fact that I am at work now, and gotta get back to it before someone catches me on blogger.

Since I am privy to your client company name and all that, the offer is super awesome!! Too bad they required you to go part-time.

I had heard it a million times but never actually understood how hard it is to continue at work before b-school. Cannot wait for my last working day!

You are too kind, Forrest. HPC is going to be richer with you around.

Reg the client sponsoring your MBA, is there no way you could pull a coup and convince them to sponsor a full-time?

Oh come on Forrest. The guide is but a few days away :)

In the mean time, i think this link will help you kill your jealousy ;)

Thanks for your vote and support! Maybe if i had a better speech i would have gotten an ipod. :) I am calling myself the top USA b-school blogger though. ha ha.

I can't believe how fast time has gone! I swear I blinked and the whole first year was over!

Ah, the key to finding time to blog while you're in school is procrastination! :) That, and I type fast.

A lot of my blog entries are made when i'm supposed to be doing something else.
